As part of the ongoing investigation into the Red Fort car blast, Delhi Police have detained the mother and brothers of prime suspect Dr. Umar Mohammad. Authorities are collecting their DNA samples to help confirm identities and trace potential links in the case.
His sister-in-law, visibly shaken, shared her disbelief:
“We last spoke to Umar on Friday. He adored children, played cricket, and was deeply committed to his studies. We worked so hard to support his education. I just can’t believe this—he’s not that kind of person.”
