Two Hearing-Impaired Boys Missing from Mysuru School Hostel

Mysuru: Police have registered a case after two resident students from the Government School for the Deaf and Mute in Tilak Nagar, Mysuru, went missing earlier this month.

According to a complaint lodged by hostel warden Mandanna A.M. on January 10, 2025, the boys — identified as Ramu and Raheem — were last seen at around 6:45 a.m. on January 2, 2025, near the hostel’s outdoor toilet and washing area. Both children are orphans with no known permanent address.

Staff members searched extensively in public areas and nearby locations but failed to trace them. Based on the complaint, Mandi Police registered case no. 06/2025 under section 137(2) of the BNS and have launched an investigation.

Police have appealed to the public to assist in locating the missing boys, sharing their facial descriptions with local stations. Anyone with information is urged to contact Mysuru City Mandi Police on 0821-2418113, 2418313, 2418513, or 2418339.
