Chamarajanagar, August 1, 2025 — The Doddamane family mourns the loss of one of its eldest members. Nagamma (95), the beloved sister of legendary Kannada actor Dr. Rajkumar, passed away today.
Nagamma breathed her last at around 11 AM in Gajanur, a village near Talavadi in Chamarajanagar district. She had been residing in the house lovingly built by her brother, Dr. Rajkumar.
Over the past few years, Nagamma had been battling age-related health issues. Despite her resilience, she succumbed to her ailments this morning, leaving behind a legacy of grace and quiet strength.
Her passing marks the end of an era for the Doddamane family and the Kannada film fraternity, which held her in high regard due to her close association with Dr. Rajkumar.
