Mysuru, October 1, 2025 — A visitor to GRS Fantasy Park in Mysuru has alleged serious negligence after suffering a life-changing injury during a family outing.
According to the accident person, a ride malfunction at the amusement park led to a severe accident in which three toes and part of the right foot were lost. The individual described the incident as a result of possible violations of ride safety protocols, poor maintenance, or untrained operators, stressing that negligence on the part of the park was to blame.
Photographs taken after the accident show the extent of the injuries. The accident person has filed a First Information Report (FIR) at Metagalli Police Station, and an investigation is currently underway.
In a public appeal, the accident person urged families to avoid visiting GRS Fantasy Park until the inquiry is complete. “No entertainment is worth risking your children’s lives,” the statement read, calling on parents to protect their families from similar tragedies.
The case has raised concerns about safety standards at amusement parks and the responsibility of operators to ensure rides are properly maintained and supervised.
