The Ministry of Women and Child Development has issued a final call for nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025, a prestigious award that recognizes exceptional efforts made by children between 5 to 18 years of age. The application window which opened on April 1 will remain open till July 31. All nominations are to be submitted online through the official portal at https://awards.gov.in.
The PMRBP recognizes young pacesetters who have distinguished themselves in fields such as sport, social service, science and technology, the environment, arts and culture, or demonstrated extraordinary bravery in difficult circumstances. Any member of the applicant community, school, institution, or organization can nominate, and even children are invited to nominate themselves by self-application.
Applicants are required to provide minimum personal information, select the award category, provide a recent photograph, and supporting documents. In addition to this, they are required to provide a write-up of up to 500 words detailing the achievement and its impact.
